ROLLER ASSEMBLY TYPES

Multi-Wheel Roller Assemblies for Different Sliding Door Structures

HUNE offers double-, four-, six- and eight-wheel roller assemblies for aluminium sliding doors, heavy-duty sliding windows and balcony glass door systems. Selection should consider the available installation space, track profile, wheel material, panel structure and the number of wheel contact points required by the complete sliding system.

Double-Wheel Roller Assemblies

Double-Wheel Roller Assemblies

Double-wheel assemblies provide a compact configuration for sliding door and window systems where installation space is limited. Common size combinations include 15×13, 15×17, 15×21, 15×24 and 15×27 / 16×27, with wheel and bearing options selected according to the track and operating requirements.

Four-Wheel Roller Assemblies

Four-Wheel Roller Assemblies

Four-wheel assemblies provide additional track contact points and are suited to larger sliding panels or systems requiring more stable support across the carriage. Wheel material, spacing, housing dimensions and bearing configuration should be matched to the door profile and track structure.

Six- & Eight-Wheel Roller Assemblies

Six- & Eight-Wheel Roller Assemblies

Six- and eight-wheel assemblies are available for larger sliding systems where multiple wheel positions are required within the carriage. Final selection should be based on the complete door structure, support layout, track geometry and installation conditions rather than wheel quantity alone.

HEAVY-DUTY ROLLER FEATURES

Configurable Roller Assemblies for Different Door and Track Requirements

HUNE sliding door and window roller assemblies can be configured by wheel quantity, wheel material, bearing specification, housing material and overall size. This allows buyers to match the roller assembly to different aluminium door, heavy sliding window and glass door structures without sourcing wheels, bearings and metal housings separately.

WHEEL MATERIAL OPTIONS
01

WHEEL MATERIAL OPTIONS

Black POK wheels provide a cost-effective option for sliding door and window assemblies where resistance to cracking is important. Standard configurations use high-carbon steel bearings with oiled carbon-steel balls, while alternative bearing specifications can be reviewed according to the project requirements.

WHEEL MATERIAL OPTIONS
02

Amber PPSU Wheel

Amber PPSU wheels are selected where quieter running is preferred. Standard versions use bearing-steel bearings and can be matched with other bearing options where required. Compared with stainless steel wheels, PPSU provides quieter track contact but is not intended to replace metal wheels where higher structural strength is required.

HOUSING & HARDWARE MATERIALS
03

Stainless Steel & Copper Wheels

Stainless steel and copper wheels are available for projects requiring metal running surfaces. Stainless steel full-wheel options use a 303 stainless steel outer ring and can be matched with 420 or 304 stainless steel bearings, while copper wheels can be combined with stainless steel shafts and bearings. Metal wheels provide a more rigid running structure, although they are generally less quiet than polymer wheels and copper versions carry a higher material cost.

PRODUCTION & ASSEMBLY

Assembly Process for Multi-Wheel Sliding Door Rollers

HUNE roller assemblies combine the wheel, bearing, stainless steel housing, pins, screws and retaining components into a complete unit. Assembly follows a defined sequence to position the bearings and wheel groups, secure the tension and retaining structures, and confirm that the finished roller assembly is correctly locked before shipment.

01

Bearing & Wheel Positioning

The bearing-supported wheels are positioned inside the stainless steel housing and secured with the corresponding locating and bearing pins. Wheel spacing and orientation are checked against the required double-, four-, six- or eight-wheel assembly configuration.

02

Pin & Retaining Assembly& Carriage Configuration

Centre pins and outer pins are pressed into position to secure the wheel groups and tension structure. Retaining plates, screws and related hardware are then fitted and tightened according to the approved assembly configuration.

03

Final Locking & Assembly Check

After the wheels and retaining components are assembled, pin position, screw fastening, adjustment movement and anti-detachment components are checked. The completed roller assembly is then compared with the approved specification before repeat production or shipment.
