Our plastic housing nylon sliding window roller is used inside aluminium profiles to support and guide sliding window or light sliding door panels.

The black moulded housing holds the nylon wheel in the correct position inside the aluminium profile. The roller travels along the bottom track and helps the window panel move smoothly while maintaining alignment.

This model is suitable for aluminium window manufacturers, aluminium profile system suppliers, door and window hardware distributors and OEM hardware brands. It can also be developed for specific regional profile systems, including Linea 20 and other South American aluminium window profiles.

The roller should be selected according to the internal profile space, track shape, panel weight and installation position. We recommend checking the roller against an actual profile section before confirming a bulk order.

The roller can be manufactured for Linea 20 and similar aluminium window profile systems. Please provide the profile drawing or an original roller sample because dimensions may vary between profile suppliers.

Is the wheel made of nylon or POM?

The standard wheel can be manufactured from nylon. POM and other engineering plastics can also be evaluated according to the track, load, operating frequency and environment.

Does this sliding window roller contain a bearing?

Bearing and non-bearing versions are available. The final structure depends on the required load, wheel dimensions and available installation space.

Can you customise the plastic housing?

Yes. We can modify or develop the housing according to the internal shape of the aluminium profile, mounting position and required wheel height.

How to Choose

  1. 1

    Check the Aluminium Profile Chamber

    Measure the available length, width and height inside the bottom sash profile. The roller housing must fit without interfering with the profile wall, glass support or other hardware.

  2. 2

    Identify the Track Shape

    Check whether the aluminium rail is raised, rounded, angled or flat. The wheel groove should follow the track rather than contact only one edge.

    If the groove does not match the rail, the roller may produce noise, move sideways or wear unevenly.

  3. 3

    Confirm the Wheel Diameter

    The wheel diameter determines the installed height of the sash. A wheel that is too large may prevent assembly. A wheel that is too small may cause the profile to rub against the track.

    Confirm the Wheel Width

    The wheel must fit within the housing and contact the track correctly. Excessive clearance can cause unstable movement, while insufficient clearance can prevent the wheel from rotating freely.

    Calculate the Load per Roller

    Provide the total panel weight and the number of rollers used. We will calculate the approximate load carried by each roller and evaluate the wheel, axle and housing structure.

    Check the Operating Environment

    For indoor windows, a standard nylon wheel and carbon steel axle may be sufficient.

    For balcony windows or humid environments, we may recommend a more corrosion-resistant axle or bearing structure. Dust and outdoor contamination should also be considered because they can increase wheel and track wear.

    Confirm Bearing or Non-Bearing Construction

    A non-bearing wheel may be suitable for lightweight and lower-frequency movement. A bearing roller can provide smoother rotation in applications with higher loads or more frequent operation.

    The available installation space must be checked before changing to a bearing structure.

    Test the Roller in the Actual Profile

    For a new aluminium profile project, we recommend installing samples in the actual profile and checking:
